I’m deaf and have short term memory loss it takes a long time to learn something I also lip read as well I’m glad I found this channel also was born deaf too because of my cleft lip and pallet
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I'm doing a bit at a time. Thank you.
Lol! Yes I'm the same 😂
Really liked this - funny!
Wonderful. You do zoom lessons ??
Unfortunately not, sorry!
Thank you Dan. I never understood placement, but now I do.😊
thanks Dan, I love talking about the garden, when im not working in school I love gardening.🌷🐢💙 Blessings Susie🙏
Thank you so much❤
Another interesting video. Congratulations on being on hollyoaks btw
Thank you! 😊
Thank you. Your videos help me so much.
I work in a garden centre and there is a deaf lady who comes in occasionally. She is always so happy when I learn a new sign. Thanks so much for this ❤
Love the example sentences you've started adding, and the structural differences from spoken English!
Love these! Is gardening just the noun or also the verb?
It can be both. This sign for garden represents a small spade but depending on the type of gardening you're doing, there are other signs you could use. For example, you could use two hands to represent holding a bigger spade or perhaps even sign grass followed by pushing a lawnmower. There's several options but my tip would be to keep is as visually accurate to the type of gardening you are referring to. This sign is OK to use as a verb for gardening in general though. Thanks for watching 😊
Sorry, that is too fast for me!
Using Makaton with special needs kids, we would use our pointer and middle finger (sometimes ring too I think) on our opposing collarbone and make a gesture similar to the second one you showed. Crazy how different signs can be, but so is verbal languages!
I didn't realise how similar B and G can look at high speeds! 😅
😮😮😮😮😮
I'm throwing my boobs away
the angry one is like tits on fire. joke😅
Got 4 after a few watches, but couldn't get number4. I picked up the first half then lost it. When I checked the answers I realised I'd never heard of it!
Can u slow it down a bit now with the finger spelling please from rhiannon xxxxxxxxxxx😀😀😀😀👍
Wow, that was quick...I had Bognor Regis for number two and managed to get five as had three letters that fitted...other than that, I need practice!
I'm still learning sign language and look forward to the day I can understand fingerspelling this fast!
Brilliant Dan. I love the sentences. More please.
Thanks. I got half right. Falmouth, Llandudno and North. The rest I had to watch again to get.
Answers below 👇👇👇 . . . . 1. Cromer 2. Falmouth 3. Skegness 4. Llandudno 5. North Berwick
Do any of these seaside towns have a single sign of their own?
Took a while but we got there in the end 💪💪
This week's fast fingerspelling quiz is a difficult one! Answers below 👇👇👇 . . . . 1. Margate 2. Lyme Regis 3. Bournemouth 4. Ballycastle 5. Torquay
i love that you’re putting it in a context/example sentence immediately! that makes it a lot easier to remember
Do you have the sign for “pain” in any videos please? Thank you!
Do you ever offer zoom courses?
Nooooo, did he say his favourite food is peanut butter on toast with a boiled egg? 🤮 hahaha!
Always good to know way to communicate for emergencies
I really love these long videos so I can just watch while I eat my lunch. It's great to see signs that aren't just the standard beginner material.
I know this is a old but good video but I thought I'd comment anyway. I like how you did it from pov and from infront. I also wish you spoke in your modern videos/ shorts as I find it helps confirm/ elaborate each step. Haven't worked out her name yet will comment again after practice. Thanks for your great videos and work as always, keep teaching 😊
loving the new haircut Dan!
I got 3 and 4, and a couple of letters from the others!
Dan out here educating and being a low key heartthrob on the daily ❤🫠
This is so helpful, thank you very much!!
Extremely helpful, thank you.
To say "enjoy your food" would I sign enjoy or food first, and do I need to do anything other than those 2?
One of my problems is that some signs are different in Scotland. Is there a Scot amongst your number of BSL presenters? Thanks.
Sat waiting for one to start with a B so I could guess Bellingham. 😂
I will go with number two, it seems far less aggressive than some of the alternatives...as for number three, that could easily be misconstrued as something entirely different.
Does the variation depend on where you live
They depend on the context and the strength or urgency of the no
Thank you for your videos. They really help ❤
I am definitely getting old. I only know one current football player name. On the plus side, these quizzes are a good test because I can’t guess the word if I don’t know them!
I LOVE THE QUIZ AT THE END!!!!!!!!!❤
Ich höre nichts mach mal lautet 😅😅😅
